10/29 Pinterest Pin(s) of the Week: Halloween Party Food

by Pennie on October 29, 2013

In case you are staying in on Halloween night and having a get-together, I thought it would be good to show you some scary party food ideas that you could whip up fairly easily!

First up, from Craftibilities is individual Fluffy Slime Cheesecake.  Basically it is instant pudding with a little food coloring to give it that SLIME quality, graham cracker crumbs, whipped cream and a foil wrapped chocolate “eyeball”!  Pretty cool looking!

Here is something cute and easy that is probably just a little different from what you already make for parties: Spider Eggs from E is For Eat.  Basically a deviled egg with an olive on top, cut in two; one half is the body the other half becomes the legs!

SpiderEggsNow these next two are from Kooky Carol’s Kitchen Concoctions and I find them particularly creepy.  I think they get to my inner (scaredy cat) child.  These are very clever, Spooky Witches’ Fingers:

WitchesFingersThen Carol has this Jello brain. The picture is pretty gross with the”blood” all over it.  But the kids will love it (or have nightmares for life, like me!).  And yes you can buy a brain shaped gelatin mold (who knew?)!
Brain-Jello-Mold-300x224From Spoonful, which is a pretty fun site all around, is this recipe for Funny Bones.  3 ingredients, a little time, and you are rocking the house with edible bones!

Also from Spoonful are these Scared Ice Cream Sandwiches.  Very easy to make, you just have to get the faces right.

scaredicecreamsandwichFrom She Knows here is a variation on the finger idea above, but a tad more gory.  Here are Bloody Severed Finger Cookies!  Pretty gruesome, right?

Of course you can’t have a Halloween party without Mummy Dogs.  These are from My

And lastly from Canary Girl, Icky Intestines.  They look really gross!

Happy Halloween from Nicole and me and keep on Pinning!
