A Few Shortcuts Weekly Recipe: Pumpkin Pecan Sticky Buns

by Pennie on November 1, 2013

I love a good sticky bun.  The stickier the better.  This week’s recipe from Amanda at A Few Shortcuts incorporates some fall flavors to create Pumpkin Pecan Sticky Buns.  She’s making it easy on us this week by using a pre-made dough instead of starting from scratch.  The topping is brown sugar, pecans, butter and honey.  Yummy!  I can hardly wait to try them.

Each week I will highlight one of Amanda’s fabulous recipes. If you don’t have the ingredients or they’re not on sale near you, you could easily print and save the recipes for later use!

I like sticky Buns, but adding pumpkin would give it extra great taste. I also like using the pre made dough!

I am not a pumpkin fan at all, but I imagine this would be great if I substituted another thick fruit puree instead.

I definitely have to try this recipe. I love that it’s made with frozen bread dough. I think I can actually make these and they will turn out. I’m going to give it a try.
