Winter is a hazardous time for hurting yourself! With snow and ice on the ground in much of the country it’s easy to take a spill and you can really do some damage! Remember these tips from the folks at ACE.
The most common forms of injuries are sprains and strains of muscles and tendons. The basic treatment to remember for these types of injuries is R.I.C.E. Therapy:
· Rest: Stop the activity immediately. Continued stress can increase the damage done.
