Remember to Give to your Pets at the Holidays

by Nicole on December 2, 2013

Hanukkah is a special time of year when family and friends come together to celebrate this age-old Jewish tradition – but what about our furry family members? No need to fret about how to include Fido or Fluffy during the Festival of Lights because Petco is here to help! For those pet lovers looking for a “mitzvah” this holiday, donate to the Petco Foundation Tree of Hope campaign, sponsored by Hill’s Science Diet. For every $1 donated, Hill’s Science Diet will donate $1 up to $75,000. Every year four million pets do not live to see the holiday season and Petco is encouraging those who are passionate about animals to donate from November 1 – December 24,2013 at their nearest Petco store, Unleashed by Petco store or Pooch Hotel location or online at Donations help feed homeless pets in shelters, give lifesaving medical assistance, enable rescuers to ease the burdens of overfull shelters, and provide venues and grants to help find more forever homes for animals in need.

Petco has a large selection of Hanukkah and Christmas items for your pets! We  loved the Hanukkah items we received especially the “oy vey” bandana – so adorable! The candy cane package with the poop bags was also a great gift – we go through a ton of them and the packaging was just adorable! Petco is THE place to go when you need to grab a holiday gift for your pet!

I received samples to facilitate this post. All opinions are my own.

We always buy our loved Nova gifts for Christmas, she loves ripping paper! It is funny. We usually get her boxes of treats and toys
