1/30 Pinterest Pin(s) of the Week: Little Brothers!

by Pennie on January 30, 2014

Today’s Pinterest is dedicated to my little brother, who calls me every year on my birthday to remind that I am older and more senile than he will ever be.  (Actually most of the time when he calls me, it’s to remind me of those things!)   So I thought I’d look around on Pinterest and see what was out there concerning little brothers.  Granted, 99.99% of the items are referring to little guys, but I found a few things that I can relate to even though we are adults.

This picture from Jay’s Photography pretty much sums up how I felt about my brother a lot of the time when we were kids:

After he got a little older, I’m sure this (from Everything Funny) is how he felt about me:

But as time went on I began to feel a little more like this Quick Quote from Your Scrapbook Connection:

When I finally realized I have a great little bro, I wish I had gotten this plaque from etsy:

Also from etsy, I’m pretty sure my brother should have this shirt because besides having me in his life, he also has a wife, two daughters and two granddaughters!  He is surrounded by princesses!

Hopefully this (unownedpic is how my brother feels about me today:

Another brothertoy: here’s how I really feel about my brother today:

This photo you won’t find on Pinterest, but it’s me and my little brother at Christmas a long time ago.  Aren’t I cute?  Why does my little brother look like a puffer fish who has been rolling around in sauce?  Because he had the mumps and was swollen to the gills.  Poor little guy, sick on Christmas.  I loved him then and I love him now, even though he still tries to annoy the life out of me!

It good to know, via Pinterest, that sibling squabbles & love are alive and well!

With a ten year age gap, I never really got my brother until we were both adults. But I love the princess protection shirts so much, i am going to make them for all the dads and brothers going on our family DW trip this fall
