2/25 Pinterest Pin(s) of the Week: I Think I’m Hungry

by Pennie on February 25, 2014

I didn’t realize what this Pinterest post was about until I got to the end.  I’m sure you’ll be more clever than me and figure it out right away!

This individual Tiramisu dessert recipe from Zoe Bakes looks soooo yummy that I want some right now.  Even the pictures of the interim steps look fabulous.  I can see all the love that went into producing this perfect little item.  I also see all the steps that went into producing this so I’m hoping a reader will volunteer their time to make and send me some!  Please?

tiramisu-zb-25When I first saw this picture, I thought “mmmm, yummy blueberry scones”.  No, I was totally wrong.  They are, in fact, Oatmeal Raisin Rolls from Averie Cooks (Recipes for Sweet Teeth!).  Still beautiful and since I love both raisins and oatmeal, I think they will be quite yummy.  There is a quality to breads that I look for and refer to as chewy.  Not chewy as in takes a lot of effort to chew but like, as Averie puts it, “highly textured, really chewy, moist bread”.  Look closely at that picture of the single roll on a small white plate.  That is exactly what I am looking for in a bread.  This is going to the top of my “need to bake” list!

Poppy Haus created this oh, so yummy looking Vietnamese Fresh Spring Rolls.  I love a great spring roll and I really prefer ones that are not fried.  These look so tasty!

The Cookie Rookie came up with a quick and easy side dish that seems fun: Baby Smash Potatoes are healthy, and I’m sure they are tasty.

Chicken Avocado Soup from Mama Miss looks like it will hit the spot on these remaining chilly days here in NC.  I don’t think I’ve ever had avocado in soup so this is going to be an interesting try!

Just discovered that Incredible Egg has a Pinterest page, where I found the recipe for this Serve a Crowd Ham, Asparagus & Tomato Strata!

Found this very useful list from One Good Thing on 31 Things you can Freeze to Save Time and Money.  What a great bit of knowledge!

KitchMe highlighted this fabulous looking  Chicken Marsala.  The production of this dish looks mouth watering.  The recipe originated on All Recipes!

chicken-marsala_639This Comfort Bake from Rocking Lion would make a great breakfast, but I think I could go for this anytime!

finished-comfortSince I just realized what the name of this Pinterest post should be, I think I’ll stop looking at pictures and go find some real food!  I wonder which of these dishes I have the ingredients for?

That’s a great group of pictures and recipe links. It does make me hungry for real food.

Sarah, sometimes after looking at Pinterest, I wonder if I’d be able to afford a personal chef. Then I could just point at a picture and say: “I think I’d like that now, please!”.
