Maxi-Cosi Pria 70 Convertible Car Seat Promotion & New LATCH Rule Explained

by Pennie on March 12, 2014

For a limited time only, customers can purchase the Pria 70 Convertible Car Seat at 15% off. The promotion runs throughout March at and other online retailers. This is an amazing value for a seat that will take your child from 9 to 70 lbs!

As you know the NHTSA has recently changed the LATCH law.  From Todays Parent: The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, an American safety authority, is now requiring warning labels be put on new car seats reminding parents not to use the lower LATCH anchors (or, as they’re known in Canada, UAS, the Lower Universal Anchorage System) once the child and their seat reach a combined weight of 65 pounds. (To put this into perspective, car seats vary from 9 to 36 pounds.) So, if your kid plus their seat exceeds 65 pounds, the new labels say you should use the seat belt to safely secure the child seat in place.  Maxi-Cosi has also put together a simple info-graphic to help parents understand the new LATCH law.

For the safety of your children, please make sure you have updated your car seat installation, if necessary, to incorporate this new change.
