Tassimo Iced Coffee Review

Description of Product: “Enjoy a fresh glass of an iced beverage any time with these patented T-discs, for use with the Tassimo Beverage System. Each T-disc contains a precisely measured amount of coffee with or without concentrated milk, and is sealed to protect the precious flavors inside. All the brewing happens inside the T-disc, so there’s no measuring, no fuss and virtually no clean-up.”

Review of Product: I recently had the opportunity to try two new Tassimo selections from Gevalia, the Black Iced Coffee and the Sweet and Creamy Iced Coffee. In summer, when it is too hot to have a steaming cup of coffee but you still need the coffee fix, now there is a great way to make an iced coffee at home like you would get at Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts. It is simple to make. You fill up a 16 ounce cup with ice and put under the Tassimo spout. It warns you not to use a something made of glass because it might crack with the heat and the cold. You then brew it like you would with any other Tassimo coffee, just pop the T-Disc in and press the button. You can then add in one of the creamer disks to make it into an iced latte. I’m no Barista, but it brews a great single served iced coffee that tastes great and will save you money instead of having to go to a specialty coffee shop.

Review of Product: From my brother: “I recently got the opportunity to try the Remington R5130 electric razor. Unlike a competitor razor that is a foil shaver, the Remington is a triple head razor, similar to another competitor that I had been using. I was using a competitor prior to this and can say that I am getting a closer and faster shave with the Remington. I believe it has to do with the titanium coating on the blades which gives me a closer shave. There are three razor heads and each one pivots and flexes individually to go over the contours of my face. When the razor gets dirty and filled with hair, you just have to run it under some hot water and it cleans it out. There is an LED indicator which shows the level of battery charge. When the battery is running low, you can do a 5 minute quick charge that will let the razor run for 30 minutes. There is also a handy pop up trimmer to trim sideburns. I would rate this Remington razor better than the competitor triple head razor I was using before due to the closer shave and the fact that it is less expensive than the competitor.”

Review of Product: I have 2 dogs as many of you know and while they are of the “non-shedding” variety, they do lose hair just like you and me! I was looking for a handheld vacuum to pick up the hair that wasn’t easy to vacuum up with a traditional vacuum.  I was excited to get this Dyson DC 31! It was ready to use in minutes and I love the 2 year warranty that the product comes with.  Long warranties equal good companies to me! The motor is super strong and it sucked up dirt and hair effortlessly.  The handheld comes with an extension hose, wide nozzle tool, a stubborn dirt brush, and a soft dusting brush.  The attachments are really useful and there wasn’t any place I wasn’t able to clean up with the Dyson.  The Dyson DC31 is bagless and comes with a washable filter.  This vacuum is expensive but worth the money in my opinion as it is so well-made and comes with that nice warranty.  If you have high traffic areas and/or pets, this Dyson DC31 does the job!

Review of Product:  I was totally enamored with the toothbrush – I love the Reacgh UltraClean and to have it so whimsical with bright hawaiian-like flowers on it was so cute! Why have a boring toothbrush, right? Seriously, though, this was always my favorite toothbrush and now it’s even better! I tried both the 2 hour whitening kit as well as the strips and was happy with the results for both.  I suffer from tooth sensitivity and found my teeth to be slightly more sensitive after using the whitening products which they say is possible in the instructions.  With the strips, you are supposed to use them for 30 minutes per day for 7 days and the box comes with lower strips and upper strips to use.  The 2 hour whitening kit is 20 minutes on and 10 minutes off  4 times for a total of 2 hours.  This was good to do on a weekend for me when I have that kind of time and can sit and blog with the trays in my mouth! I did notice my teeth were whiter and for an at home whitener I thought they did a pretty good job.

Review of Product:   I was intrigued by these products and their 100% natural claims using the grapeseed.  I received samples from the invigorating citrus line and was happy to find the scents delightful and not at all overpowering.  The lotion was smooth and did not leave a greasy residue.  The body soap was hearty and while I am not a user of bar soap generally (I prefer body wash) I found the soap to be not cumbersome and refreshing.  The shampoo bar was the hardest for me to get used to though I think it is a great product especially for a man or someone with short hair.  It was tough with my longer hair and I think mentally I am so used to pouring shampoo from a bottle! I really enjoyed this line and love that it has no preservatives or artificial colors in it.
