I received the invitation to review the BurgerFi restaurant in Fort Lauderdale, FL and immediately thought that my in-laws would enjoy this restaurant. They live very close by and I know how they enjoy trying new restaurants! So I sent them to review the restaurant and they LOVED it! Please read their thoughts below the restaurant information.

For over 100 years, the classic hamburger has been an American institution. From its early years at carnivals and fairs, the hamburger has held a special place with Americans; A cheeseburger, fries and a Coke is the quintessential meal.

Even with its glorious history, it was not until recently that we began to experience a Burgerfication of the Nation®. The taste sensation is made possible by the perfect combination of all natural Angus beef from cattle that are raised in the most stringent standards. This flavor and tenderness that we’ve come to expect in a fine steak, is now made possible in a hamburger.

From my mother-in-law Penny: On January 30, 2013 my husband and I went for dinner at BurgerFi located on the 2300 block of Sunrise Blvd. in Fort Lauderdale.  When we came up to the counter we were warmly greeted by Daniel Falcone, one of the owners.  After a brief conversation we started reading the overhead menu choices.

I decided on the prime brisket cheeseburger which comes with swiss and bleu cheeses.  It was delicious and cooked just right.  My husband had the quinoa vegiFi burger which he really enjoyed.

The sides we ordered were a regular order of hand cut fries (enough for 2 people) and some of the best onion rings I have ever eaten.

We had 2 diet sodas (from the fun freestyle machine, see picture above!) and for dessert we had their concrete which is a vanilla custard with almond and pecan crunchies which was really good.

The restaurant decor is open, bright and clean lined.  My final comment concerns the restroom.  It was very clean and well lit which is a fact that shows respect for customers to the smallest detail.  We will return.

So 2 thumbs up from my in-laws who are pretty discerning diners! The pictures look so good – I can’t wait to head down that way soon to give it a try! Or maybe they will be opening a BurgerFi in Palm Beach, Martin or St Lucie Counties? I can hope!
